Tim Price
Story
Hi
I’m undertaking this year's Gutsy Challenge and trekking over 70km through the New Zealand Southern alps. The trek includes three days of increasing ascent climbs; 600 metres, 1100 metres and then 2000 metres. Our team's aim is to raise awareness and much needed funds for gastro-intestinal clinical trials - a cause that is close to my heart and to which I am committed to seeing change.
Over 28,900 Australians are diagnosed with a GI cancer each year. We have made some substantial advances in the last 30 years, but there is still a long way to go as the death rate is still unacceptably high. Research in to vital new treatments is essential to improving treatment options and outcomes for these individuals.
Please support my efforts by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to the GI Cancer Institute and directed toward their Innovation Fund annual grant.
Thank you so much for your support!
Tim
